Every scout deserves a trained leader! Scout leaders are considered trained when they have completed Fast Start, Youth Protection Training, This Is Scouting and the Leader Specific training for their position. Trained leadership is one of the keys to providing a quality Scouting program at the unit level. The course is a prerequisite to Wood Badge training, and it is a great opportunity to meet other Scouters, learn about scouting leadership and new skills, compare experiences, make new friends, and have fun!
